Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I start my online giving?
Click on the “Give Online” button.
Create an account (if you already have an account, go to step 2.) To do this, click the “Create An Account” button, then ill out the required information.
If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to log in first.
Complete the fields in the window to set up a one-time gift or ongoing schedule.
Q. Nothing happens when I click ‘Give Online’. What’s wrong?
If you are using a pop-up blocker like Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security or Pop-Up Stopper, the window can’t open. Most browsers also have an internal popup blocker that can be enabled or disabled. In order to use interactive features (like online giving and event registration) you will need to allow pop-ups.
Q. Can I give online to Dare 2 Care?
Yes. The system will give you an option to select “Tithes and Contributions” or “Dare 2 Care.”
Q. When is the automatic contribution charged to my account?
Specify if you want your contribution made one time, weekly, every other week (bi-weekly), twice per month (on the 1st and the 16th), monthly, quarterly or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it’s possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one. Your contribution will process through your account in 2-5 business days, and you will receive a confirmation of your transaction via email.
Q. Can I just try this by giving one time?
Absolutely. Select “One Time” in the frequency drop-down box. Then, choose a date for the contribution to process, or choose to process immediately.
Q. What fields are required?
All fields with an asterisk are required. The contribution will not process unless all required fields have been properly completed.
Q. Can I see my online giving record?
At any time, you can view your online giving record from the online giving window. Scroll to the bottom of the window to see your giving history for the current year. This will only show you a history of your online giving. Rock Family Church sends complete year-end giving records (including online, check, and cash contributions) directly to your home address each January*.
*for all households that give a minimum of $300 during the previous calendar year.
Q. What if I want to change my online giving or stop it?
From the online giving window, scroll down to the contribution schedule. Select the green edit button to make a change or select the blue button to delete.
Q. Can I use my debit card or credit card?
Yes.
