Senior Pastor: Dean Hawk

Dean has served in the full-time ministry over
the last 27 years in various capacities. Prior to starting Rock Family Church in 2004 he served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, Bible college instructor, and conference speaker. He has also authored twelve volumes of ministry curriculum called H2O Sermon Source.

His success in ministry can be summed up in one word--creativity. If you are looking for a bland, ordinary, run-of-the-mill speaker--you're looking in the wrong place! Dean's creative style of ministry connects with people and ignites them in their walk with God. Dean believes it is a sin to be boring in church. This motivates him to continually seek the Lord for new and creative ideas to reach people with the good news!

Worship Pastor: Jared Moore

Jared came on staff at RFC in August of 2006. He has a degree in church music and most recently graduated from the New Life School of Worship.

Jared has been leading worship for the past seven years and he has taken our worship experience at Rock Family to the next level!

He and his wife, Katrina, have been married for over 10 years and have two sons, Elijah and Sam.

Youth Pastor: Mike Keck

Mike has served in full time youth ministry for over 10 years and says he is just getting warmed up! He is passionate about developing teenagers in their God-given potential. Mike puts it this way, “Every time a student and their family walk through the doors of a church, we have a responsibility to discover, define, and develop their God given potential!” As the new leader at the helm of The District Student Ministries you will be seeing many exciting changes and new additions to our student ministry. Be careful, Mike is highly contagious and if you hang around him you might get addicted to reaching a generation for Christ!

Mike and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 14 years and have the privilege of raising their two boys, Kaige and Kaiden.

Children's Pastor: Kim Hawk

Kim has served in the ministry along side her husband, Dean, for the past 26 years.  From kids, to teenagers and adults, she has ministered to all levels.  Along with her role of overseeing our children’s ministry Kim also teaches aerobics, and one of her favorite jobs is being "mom" to her three teenagers: Alesha, Allyson and Preston.

Her energetic and contagious attitude will ignite your kids in their walk with Jesus Christ.  Kim also understands the frustrations and challenges of parenting children.  Each month her parent updates give you hints, tips, and tricks to improving your relationship with your kids.

Assistant Pastor: Aileen Rediger

Aileen joined the Rock staff in 2010. She is the Director of our Life Group Ministry and leads our Volunteer Development. She also assists with our Dare to Care Outreach to our city. Aileen is a graduate of Oral Robert’s University with a Masters in Interpersonal Communication with a Small Group emphasis.

She was married to Martin in 1981 and together they have been blessed with six children and two fantastic son-in-laws. Aileen served alongside her husband for eleven years in Youth with a Mission before moving to Colorado Springs in 1995, where Martin became the Financial Controller at Compassion International. Aileen has served in the local church all her adult life and her call is to encourage and equip believers. Aileen’s passion is to help people live remarkably fruitful lives to the glory of God.

Office Administrator: Melody Ashley

Melody brings her administrative and technical skills to our office to help keep the day to day operations of Rock Family Church flowing smoothly. She is the first friendly face you see when you come to the Rock office. Her many responsibilities include supporting our staff, church members, and the public. Melody her husband, John, were married in 1987 and they have 4 children. The Ashley family serves as volunteers in many different areas of the church. Their heart is to honor God and help people.

Assistant to the Children’s Pastor: Angela Loomis

Angela is the latest addition to our children’s staff. She has had a heart for children since her youth and always dreamed of becoming a teacher. She is currently working toward a degree in elementary education at UCCS. Angela is passionate about serving God’s people and ministering to children. She takes care of many daily duties in the office , coordinating with over 100 volunteers, and assisting with Sunday services in RockKids. She and her husband, Dillon, who volunteers in the Kid’s ministry, were recently married in June of 2010.

Preschool Director: Alesha Hawk

In 2009 Alesha took the lead role over this valuable ministry. She is passionate about working with children and believes that even at a young age the preschoolers can begin to learn about God and engage in fun times of worship. Each week she develops age-appropriate lesson plans and crafts, coordinates with over 50 volunteers, and regularly makes homemade PlayDoh. Alesha has grown up in the ministry and worked with children from a very young age. She is going to college to pursue a degree in History and hopes to one day teach elementary students.
